⛳ Mission:

To create a road-ready vehicle powered by the sun.

📋 My Task:

To design, manufacture, and test a parking brake system, which is capable of anchoring the vehicle under a forward or rearward force of 10% of the vehicle’s weight (40 pounds).

🔧 Work done:

1. Ran trade studies + called vendors + performed hand calcs to select off the shelf components such as the brake caliper.
2. Rapidly iterated my design numerous times to conform to chassis + suspension redesigns.
3. Designed and fabricated a parking brake prototype using wood and 3D printing to test and verify key design requirements.
